committee of the fair has an
nounced a change In the prize
list in both class one and two
to make it possible tor a greater
number of exhibitors to ' win
prizes.
The new ; list is as follows:
Class -1. First prize 15; second
10; third, fourth and fifth 5
each; sixth, seventh, eighth and
ninth, $2.50 each.
Class 2. First prize $7.50:
second $5; third, fourth and
fifth. $3 each; sixth, seventh,
eighth and ninth, $1.50 each.
Miss Vera Bogard, who is in
charge of the "photograph al
bum" at the Wodburn commun
ity grange fair, requests that
all photographs to be exhibited
be left either at the Hall studio
or brought to the armory not
later than .Thursday. Any old
time photographs will be ac
cepted. . ,
A special exhibit of field corn
will be arranged-nder the- di
rection of J. Sidney Johnson for
exhibition at the Woodburn com

Units at Amity
. AMITY The Amity schools op
ened Monday with an increased
enrollment in both schools. In the
high school 143 have registered,
an increase of about IS per cent
over that of last year. There are
57 in the freshman class. A. N.

Miss Margaret Patterson, Miss Al

and James B. Thomas. :

. There are about 175 enrolled in
the grade school with the same
faculty as that of last year, with
the exception ot one teacher less.
