Robbing Is Held on Qiarge of Taking Money From Mail LEBANON On a charge of taking money from letter mail. William N. RobbJns. for many yt ars a postal clerk in the Leba non postofflce and until lately as sistant postmaster, was arrested Wednesday by US Marshal J. T. SummerYflltt and Deputy Marshal Leo McClaln. He posted 1600 bail and wag released. He had been named in a secret grand Jury indictment. . At the last meeting of the com mercial club of the year reports vtrc filed and routine business closed. : . Fair off Main Street The fair board included in tho commercial club took op the ques tion of location 'as the fair has been "barred from Main street and some opposition to the location at the high school athletic field .has arisen. Dallas Festival -i j Queen Choice Is Sliced to Three DALLAS Beatrice Benge, Bev erly Branch and Mildre4 Voth were selected Wednesday by the Dallas high school faculty to rule the historic pageant' and festival to be presented by the Dallas schools June 3 These three girls were chosen from a group of six candidates nominated by the senior class in a previous vote. The final voting to determine the queen will be done by the student body next week. The two other girls will be-attendants and will make up the court. Preston Dougbton of the faculty is chair man of the committee appointed to select the queen. .Scholarship, leadership In school activities, character, the vote of the senior class, and per sonal appearance from the stand point of a queen were factors considered by the faculty-in mak ing their choice. 'I . Beatrice Benge Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. M."- Benge. Beverly Branch is the daughter of Mr. and .Mrs. H E. Branch and comes to Dallas high' school on the Lewisville bus. -Mildred Voth Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Voth and is the third mem ber of the family to graduate from Dallas high.
