It is Don's personal belief that
Oregon State will have an eren
better ball club next fall than
was fielded this, despite tbe loss
of the phantom, Joe Gray, Full

and Ramsey. Coons says tnat &u

offenslye tactics next year, and
will snort two ball-carriers in his
harkflplrt instead of one. It is the

t It is Stiner's intention, ac
cording to Coons, to convert
Younce into a fullback and use
his kicking ability to do the
punting. Den Ell is also avail
able for the boomer spot, and
will iprobably understudy
Younce. Both pass-snatching
Joe VTendllck and Coons1 will
be back for their last year at
the wing herths. Veteran Jim
Orr should be , even better at
his snapper-back post, Hacken
bruck and Gillis will probably
handle the tackles, and Schultz
and Schell at the guards.

Don cleared up another lit

l"CXA-OSC game 'way back on
October 16, There; was,' per

in that ball game than 'in any
Coast conference tilt we've ever
seen. It finally brokSe out, in
the last quarter, in an open
list fight between Hackenbruck
and a Uclan that banished both
from the field. It seems, ac.

Staters naturally resented such
ungentlemanly tactics.
