C. Muliencounty agent. The total number in the county was 2200, Mullen states. At a meeting of farmers, com mitteemen and others Interested. to be held on the first floor of the Odd Fellows building In Scio at 30 Friday afternoon, November 19, farmers of the Scio commun ity will have an opportunity to learn of the objectives of the 1938 conservation program. The county agent will conduct the meeting. Incumbent committeemen ot the Scio area are G. A. Sandner, chair man, Victor Lyon and John Ron er. Morey was sentenced July 1, 1937, for a one year term for taking a German Lugar pistol.; The pardon states that Morey, only 18, and who pleaded guilty to the charge, has had no pre vious criminal record. Sheriff T. B. Hooker and C. A. Kells, secretary of the YMCA at Salem, had recommended that he be pardoned. He is paroled to Mr. Kells.
