City cem etery. - - 1 k - Mr. Ziedler died as the result of self-inflicted wounds with; a razor and butcher knife around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Zied ler Is critlcaWy ill. at the Albany General hospital, suffering from knife wounds, supposedly inflict ed by her husband. I It ! la believed that Mr. Ziedler killed himself in a fit of tem porary insanity and Mrs. Zied ler in attempting to prevent him. was cut. According to the sons and daughters of Mr. Ziedler, in 1924 he was Injured when a tree fell, hitting him on the , head. This left him in a nervous con dition. George Ziedler was born In 1876, in Baltimore, Md.. where in 1897. he married Kora Lee Brown. In 1903 Mr. and Mrs. Ziedler witlf.their family came to Oregon. Fox ,20 years they made their home in Clackamas coun ty. Five years ago they moved Route 1, Albany, near Fry Sta tion where they have been , mak ing their home on a farm. - Surviving are the widow and ten children, and nine grandchil dren. The children are Mrs, Jen nie Moehnke, Mrs. Louisa Nel son and Mrs. Bessie Nelson, all of Beaver -Creek, Carroll Ziedler of Tangent, Frank Ziedler of Gresham, and Ernest Ziedler, Rex Ziedler, .Walter Ziedler, Mrs. Mabel Walker and .Mrs. Lncille Walker all of Albany. He Is also, survived by four brothers, Clar ence and Henry of Baltimore, Md., Ed of Amity and Frank of weighed TVi pounds and has been named Jeanne Ellen. Mrs. Kelso was Jormerly Virginia Adams. Licensed at Dallas DALLAS Marriage licenses were Issued the past week by the Polk county clerk's office to Ilil 11am L. : Rboads, ,19, Independ ence, 'soldier, .and Martha Keller, 19, Tacoma, housewife, and to Howard G. McFetridge, 23, ma chinist, Dallas, and Hilma Lenore Hobbs,-20, domestic, Dallas. . Portland, and "one sister, . Mrs. Louisa Stangof Baltimore, Md. Mr. Ziedler was a member of the Masonic lodge of Gervals. Malhey Files Suit DALLAS A. R. Mathey has filed suit in the Justice court of District No. 3 in Polk county against Jess Housley to collect $28.90 and Interest from April 3, 1932, at 6 per annum and costs and disbursements in con nection with the suit. highly recommended. School will probably begin September 20. H. A. Dempsey will operate the school bus again this year. ; This town Is keeping step with larger towns as to the house ques tion. There are n.o vacant houses and with several families moving to town there Is no place to rent. Mrs." A. Q.
