Anaconda was one of the most
active jumpers at 64. but Ken
necott ended off a shade at 64.
Bethlehem Steel shot up to 94
and U. S. Steel ended at 114.
The total volume of transfers
was the best for a two-hour ses
sion In flTe weeks, amounting to
1,484.730 abares compared with
1.371.0(0 last Saturday.

ment with tires on farm tractors
and other farm implements, one
of the -greatest problems waa to
keep ; the tires from bouncing
around, and thus losing their trac
tion, while they were pulling heary

weight them down, but these were
an additional expense to the trac
tor operator. Putting them on and
