The public is invit ed. Flu Prevalent Influenza and its frequent successor, pneumonia, accounted for a rise to 42 in the number of communicable disease cases reported in Marion county last week. Disease cases were as follows: Influenza 12, pneumonia 11, measles 7, chickenpox and mumps 4 each, scarlet fever 3, tu berculosis 1. Polk county cases in cluded four of pneumonia, three of mumps, three of influenza, two of measles and one of scarlet fe ver. New Grade Inspector H. M. Branson, local engineer, has been appointed to succeed George Han ley as the school board's Inspector for construction of the new grade school. Hanley has gone to Fort Peck.
