Will Be Obtained ' - Two selected teams the pick f the 'Salem softball league will Tie next Tuesday night at Sweet land field In an all-star benefit came to provide a portion of the funds for the annual softball ban quet, being sponsored this year by the Salem Breakfast club, f Lou Singer and Loren Kitchen, managers respectively of Parker's and Pade's, teams that have been at each other's - throats for two years, will manage the two all-, star nines. The banquet at' which an at tendance of over 200 is expected will be " held " August 9 -at C:30 o'clock at the Masonic temple.' The district playoff between Mt. Angel J- and Milwaukie was thrown into a tie Wednesday - afternoon w3en Mil- 4 waukie rallied In the eighth in ning and nosed out Mt.
