Mocks JMmk Up New Highs MIDI YIELDS OF WHEAT SLASHED CHICAGO, July 81-rF)-Steeple- today resulted largely from in- dlcations Canadian wheat yields hare been slashed 100,000.000 this week the United States 1935 total winter and spring wheat production is expected to show 100.009.000 to 150.000,000 nusn- els curtailment as compared with the official forecast a month ago. Minneapolis wheat prices today soared the limit, 5 cents a bushel, but the fact that the Winnipeg market encountered resistance on upturns led to profit taking sales here. Market Closes Unsettled After a maximum rise of 4 cents, the Chicago wheat market closed unsettled. Unexpected steep upturns of Llrerpool wheat quotations tacili- tated the new rise of values this slde of the Atlantic. Roughly, a third of the North American wheat crop this season is estimated to have been destroy- ed by black rust. Under such cir- cumstances, today's trading was the heaviest in some time.
