"London opened par to 15 per cent above the close of the prev ious series on Tuesday and has been fully maintained since. For eign markets generally are firm. "The piece goods market is slow. Western operations have slowed down, also. "Mohair is rather slow but steady." The Bulletin will publish the following quotations: Scoured basis: Oregon: Fine and FM staple, 72-73; fine and FM combing 66 68: fine and FM clothing 62-63. Mohair: Oregon, 26-28. Gardeners' and Ranchers' Mart PORTLAND, Ore., July 12.-JP) -Apricots, selling at 60-65 cents per peach box at the Ranchers and Gardeners' market, will have to be bought very soon if any can ning of that fruit is to be done. The apricot market will about reach its peak on Monday and from then on the decline will be rapid. Raspberries held the same price and the supply is getting very meager. The supply will not last more than another week, if that long. Wild blackberries sold for 1.40 and the berries were of the best quality. Watermelons came up V cent per pound and the melons were very choice. Seattle lettuce came up selling for $1 per crate, then sold for 75c at the last market re port. Tomatoes were plentiful and of all varieties. Industrials and specialties led the way during most of the ses sion, including aircraft sbares, al cohols, some of the motors and ac cessories and chemical stocks. New highs were scored by a va riety of issues, including General Motors, Fox, Schenley, United Aircraft and Kelsey Hayes "A" and "B". The Associated Press average of 60 selected stocks finished with a gain of .3 of a point at 45.4. Transfers totaled 1,097,000 shares. Closing gains of fractions to a point or more included General Motors at 36, Allied Chemical at 157 T.
