The Oregon butter committee sent out notice today of an am endment to the state butter code. to he effective July 10, showing the minimum butterfat price schedule of the Oregon butter code (schedule A has been changed for the purpose of reme- dying certain inequalities and ad justing discrepancies which exist in the present schedule. It pro rides for a manufacturing margin which is never less than four cents. Prices were based on the extra cube quotation from the Portland Produce Exchange, differing only slightly from the old schedule. July 9.-JP Lighter receipts of loganberries sent the oriees upward at the ear ly Gardeners' and Ranchers wholesale market today. The best berries were selling for II per crate while the poorer qualities sold for as low as 85 cents per crate. Old stock apples which recent ly left the market for the Reason have been replaced with new stock Takima apples which are selling for J 1.7 5 per box. Wild blackberries appeared on the market one morning and sold for 1.60 per crate. Since then they have not been seen on the early market. No. 1 Seattle cabbage which haj been selling for 60 to 70 cents per crate was up to $1.25 for 100 pounds. The poorer qualities were selling, much cheaper and I " " o - - Danish baldhead was selling for i 15 -er 100 sounds Watermelon iower Watermelon went from i cents per ponnd to 2 cents per pound.
