The call was for all sorts. Slightly better consuming movement of turkeys was show ing as a result of the high cost of chickens and meats. Receipts were moderate and the price fully steady for top quality. With supplies dwindling rapid ly and Oregon the only place where good quality was available, onion holders were demanding S4 net and are refusing to sell be low that. Some business has been shown at the mark. Local potato market was dull with prices about steady despite the higher values being asked at Redmond and in spots at Yakima. Still higher prices were being forced for local cabbage with an extreme shortage. Best local was selling around 4c lb. to retailers while new California was moving slowly at 4-4 Uc lb. There continued betterment in the cauliflower situation both lo cally and for shipment.
