AURORA, Jan. 12 The Aurora Community club held its regular meeting Tuesday . night in the Electric building. The annual election of officers took place with the election of Chester E. Gil breath as president. George J. Wurster was elected vice-president, and Melvin JH. Evans, the re tiring president, was elected secretary-treasurer. Louis Webert was elected trustee of the organiza tion.' It was voted to sponsor the or ganization of a choral club which is being promoted by the Woman's club. After the business meeting the IS members present enjoyed a feed at the Aurora Cafe. The next meeting of the club will be held' Tuesday, February 6. At this meeting a speaker from the University of Oregon will speak on the merits and opposi tion of the present and proposed 'forms of county government. Mr. and Mrs. N. F. Angel MT. ANGEL, Jan. It Local farmers shipped 62 carlads of hay and hons during the month of December, examination of the rec ords reveals. Forty carloads of hay and 12 of hops were 'shipped by the growers. One carload of hay went to western Nebraska and all the rest to the drouth-stricken area of western North Dakota, to various points along the Great Northern and Milwaukee railroads. Other shipments are. being made. The Arizona Wranglers, will-ba in Mt. Angel next Thursday, Jan uary 17. They will furnish tha music for the regular dance spon sored by the dance club of the Young Men's and Young Ladies' sodalities and will also be featur ed in a floor show.
