Threshine Under Way

Joe Roner farm a few miles
southeast of the city on July 6.

threshed some grain this week.
This is the earliest threshing here
for several years, farmers assert.
O. J. Myers of the Mt. Pleasant
section is reported recovering
from a peavy wound in his foot,
sustained while working with
timber. The condition of Fred
Stamper, who has been in a hos
pital in Albany for some time, is
reported not entirely satisfactory.
