When blended add milk and seasonings and cook until creamy sauce forms. Add tuna which has been flaked apart. Pour into shallow baking dish and hare been mixed with melted butter. Bake 20 minutes. Cinnamon Bread Vt cups flour 3 teaspoons baking powder H teaspoon salt ' 3 tablespoons lard Vi cup milk H cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 2 tablespoons soft butter. Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in the lard with knife and add milk, mixing lightly. Pour into buttered shallow pan, patting down dough until 1 Inch thick. Mix rest of Ingredients and spread on top of soft dough. Bake 15 minutes In moderate oren Serve warm with butter. . .. Relish Dressing 1 teaspoon salt ' 1 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon celery seed V teaspoon dry mustard y teaspoon chopped onion 3 tablespoons sugar. cup salad oil 5 tablespoons Tinegar 2 tablespoons chili, sauce 2 tablespoons catsup 4 olives, choped. Mix ingredients In wide-mouth ed bottle, cork secursely and shake for 2 minutes. Chill. Shake before using. Lath am and Mercla Wearer Litham when they observe their wedding annirersary Saturday, January 13, at the home , of their eon. and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Latham of Silrerton. The erent has been attracting nation-wide attention and already congratula tions., from Tarlous. friends throughout the country hare been arriving at the Latham home. Mr. Latham was born In Ohio August 11, 1841. He attended Hiram college for a time and "was under the Instruction of James A. Garfield at the time the i latter was president ot the college. In 1861, he enlisted with the 4 lit Ohio Tolunteer infantry. For three years he served with this, and during that time was twice wounded. Later he reenlieted and served seven months with the 39th Ohio volunteers. Married in War Daya Mrs. Latham was, born in Penn sylvania December 26. 1841. When a very small girl she moved with her parents to Ohio. It was while Mr. Latham was on a furlough, recovering from his wounds, that the two were mar ried January 13, 1854, at Welch field, O. Mr.' and Mrs. Latham moved to Nebraska in 1882 to Idaho in 1902 tnd to California In 1913. Since that time they have made several changes between that Utate and Oregon. For some years they made their home at Silver ton. Six years ago they moved to Silverton where , they are now making their permanent home. Mr. and .Mrs. Latham have three children, H. B. Latham of Silverton, Marc L. Latham of Oakland, Cal., and Mrs. Ts D. Goble of Los Angeles. They, also have five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mayflower Descendant Mr. Latham is an honorary member of the Society of May flower Descendants, and also maintains an interest, in military affairs. Mra. Latham,' a tiny per sonage, still does ker own house work, is an Inveterate reader, and during the holidays sent out over 60 notes to friends in Cali fornia, Ohio, Nebraska and else-, where. , - v -rr'-: r Mra. Latham has. always been a staunch member of the repub lican party and the present ad ministration has. .afforded her much material for the discussions ahe still loves to participte in.
