name of a portion of Cascade
drive to Piedmont avenue, change

drive, and to give a short new
private driveway connecting the

Glenn Creek road, lying outside of
the city limits, the' name of Cas
cade drive.
It is requested that those who
have requisitions for seed for
vegetable gardens get it at onee

of assault with a dangerous weap
on came to an abrupt close Tues
day afternoon when Judge Arlie
G. Walker sustained a motion of
the defense to rule out-a witness.

Kreason, attorney for the defend
ant, objected to Louise Stump be
ing used as a witness oa the
grounds that she was of unsound
