Mother Dies Mrs. C. Winifred
who was called to Gresham early
Wednesday morning by the illness
of her mother, Mrs. Sampson, ar
rived there a short time after her
mother had passed away. Mrs.
Sampson had been an invalid for
some time and had recently been
suffering from a combined attack
of influenza and pneumonia.

charge of five cents, plus postage,
for all senate calendars, bills,

tions, certain eonaty officials and
libraries. Legislators were re
stricted to receipt of five bills and
calendars.
Senator Dunne said the enforce
ment of the resolution would re
sult la saving the taxpayers of
Oregon many thousands of dol
lars annually. He referred to re
quests ot various state depart
ments for as many as 70 copies of
one bill.

exceed 19 per cent of the receipts
of the commission.
