The regular assembly sessions will open at 10 o'clock Friday morning following registration. This assembly will be unusually busy because ordinarily there Is three days given over for the bus iness and social activities, but this year only two have been set aside for the session. Saturday, June 25 Grand Assembly of Order of Rainbow for Girls in session at Masonic temple; reception for Miss Eloise Wright at 4 o'clock; banquet and dance in evening; regular session plans during day. assembly patrol. Worthy Advisor Alta Johnson of Chadwick. as sembly will give the address of welcome on behalf of the hostess chapter. Miss Ann Sitton of Mc Minnville. Knowles assembly will respond. Chadwick assembly mem bers will give musical numbers. The welcome to Salem will be given by Dr. W. C. Kantner and response will be given by Miss Madelle Beidler, Cottage Grove assembly. . A luncheon meeting will be a feature of Friday noon at Ma sonic temple as it will also be of Saturday noon. The Friday after noon session will open at 2:00 o'clock. -Roll call and reports, and election of officers will be the main features of this session. Friday night a dinner will be served at the temple and the evening will be given over to rit ualistic work presented by Bar rillai assembly. Saturday morning at 10 o'clock a tour to the city and state insti tutions has been arranged. At 11 o'clock the mother advisors will have a conference with the su preme deputy, Mrs. Carl G. Tip ton of Portland. The main feature of the after noon Saturday will be the recep tion being planned to welcome Miss Eloise Wright as grand wor thy advisor. This will be between the hours of 4 and 6 o'clock and will be followed by a, banquet at 6 o'clock. A dance at the Masonic temple concludes the session. Miss Lou Thompson motored to Salem from Neskowin where sh and her mother, Mrs. W. S. 1 nouipson are uianing mtfir uume in their cottage tnere tnis sum mer. Mrs. Edwin Baker and Mrs. H. H. Olinger will accompany Miss Thompson back to Neskowin today. The guests plan to remain a week in Neskowin as the guests ot Mrs. Thompson and Miss Thompson. Mrs. George A. White and Miss Dorothy White left Thursday morning for Camp Clatsop where they will remain for the military demonstration which will be an event of Sunday, and which will be given by the Oregon National Guards of which General White is commanding officer. I Miss Elizabeth Lord and Miss Edith Schryver entertained with an intimate and very informal dinner party at their home on South High street Thursday even ing complimenting Mrs. George Guyles of Tacoma, house guest of Miss Mabel Robertson, and for Miss .Louise Hetzer of Groton, Mass, Miss Ernestine McGuire of Oak land, Cal., is now in Portland where she is the guest of her aunt, Mrs. R. M. Hofer, in whose home she expects to visit for the next month. Miss McGuire was the house guest of Miss Jeanne and Miss Marie Patton while she visited in Salem. A guest who will be received with social interest in Salem is Miss Melva Belle Savage of Stock ton, Cal, who has arrived' to be the guest of Mrs. Hal Patton and also of Mrs. William McGilchrlst Jr., her aunt, and Mrs. W. H. Schnlse were hosts Wednesday evening at the Schulse home complimenting Miss Bertha Preul of St. Louis, Mis souri, sister of Mrs. Schulze who Is visiting here. Covers were placed for Miss Preul. and for Miss Carol Park er, Miss Pauline Findley, Miss Doris Clarke, Miss Edith Findley and for Dr. and Mrs. Schulze. . Mrs. Dan Fry, Miss Prlscilla Fry, Mrs. Kitty Graver and the Raymond 'Walsh family of Eu gene will spend the Fourth of July at Neskowin at their cottage. They will be joined by Mr. and Mr3. Dan Fry Jr. and their fam ily. Mrs. Dan Fry Jr. and children and Mrs. Earl Flegel are already in Neskowin where they will spend tlje remainder of the month. Jack Porter of Medford will arrive in Salem the first of next week to Join Mrs. Porter and small son, who have been visiting here with Mrs. W. Al Jones for several weeks. Mr. Porter will come especially at this time in order to attend the wedding of Miss Hester Davis and Robert Cosgrove which will be an event of June 29. Miss Helene Gregg left Thurs day for Los Angeles where she will be the guest of her sister, Mrs. Henry Nolan. Miss Gregg has recently returned to Salem from Glendale where she has taught in the high school there for the past three years. While in California Miss Gregg will attend summer school for six weeks at the University of Los Angeles.
