Members were present irora balem, Woodburn. Mt. An gel, Scio, Dallas, Cottage Grove and Dayton. The secretary's report shows in snrance written during 1931 was 1349,305. January 1, 1932, there were 10S3 policies in force insur ing 2214 buildings and contents for the amount of $1,218,349. Re ceipts for the year were as fol lows: Premiums from new mem bers, $1442.78; assessments paid 53847.82; Interest receded. J44S.48; total receipts. $5759.36. Disbursements, nine fire losses. $6159.97. This was the largest annual fire losses In the history of the association. Total amount paid for fire losses since organ iza tion. $18,851.44. General running expenses for 1931 averaged 77c per $1000 of Insurance in force. The average cost or the company covering a period of 35 years were: Running expenses. 90c per $1000; fire losses, 98c per $1000, totaling $1.88 per thousand of insurance in force. Net resources of the as sociation (net worth). $6583.02. J. M. Sohon, chief deputy of the Insurance department, and Lester B.
