(AP)A brieCouUlninK the ad vantages of the Vera on la-Hamlet route for the proposed highway from Portland to the sea has been submitted to the state highway commission by the Vernonla chamber ef commerce. The brief contends that route would serve more people than any of the other proposed routes; that it would-be the moat direct route between Portland and the Clatsop beaches; that it would provide direct highway faculties for the growing agricultural com munities ef the Nehalem valley, and that- it would give Vernonla.
