No warning was riven by the company in any way that would have enabled the residents of this district' to have secured seme kind of transnortation and take up where the company left off. Since that time members of the community have conferred' with the company oiliciais asking ior a resumption of service with greatly reduced time service but no avail. By taking off, the busses the ooonla feel that a rreat hardshln and injustice has been done this end of the line and that they are being discriminated against. Inasmuch as the running-distance Is no greater from State street to the Heights than irom state atreet to tha fair grounds. If as good, she will remain In Oregon several weeks. Margaret Douglas of Orland, Calif., nieces of Mrs. Miles Saut ter is here to spend a week of her vacation at the Sautter home. Mr. and Mrs. C. M.
