Shape In loaf in casserole that baa been greased with bacon drip pings or butter. Bake at 850 de grees for about minutes. Serve hot with the following sauce. 1 Kelt 1 or I tablespoons bacon drippings or oil, and add flour 1 tablespoon to a eup of liquid,) minced garlic, tomato Juice and Spanish pepper to taste. Cook un til fairly thick. Tapioca Monkey Cook -slowly in two tablespoons butter, one minced green pepper and one small onion, chopped tine. Heat 3-4 cup canned corn and 1 cup stewed tomatoes in boiler. Add two tablespoons tapioca, 1 eups American cheese cut in small pieces, the onions and green pepper, 1-1 C teaspoon pep per, a dash of paprika and H tea spoon salt. Cook IS minutes, stir ring frequently. Serve at once on toast or crackers. Noodles and Ham Au Gratin. (What to do with that leftover ham.) t cups cooked noodles 2-3 cup grated cheese 2 cups cooked ham dropped 2 eups thin wnlte sauce Put layer of noodles in greased casserole. Add layer of ham and well seasoned white sauce and sprinkle with cheese. Repeat. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake in moderate oven (3S0 degrees) for about SO minutes. Banana Cream Pie 3 bananas 2 cups milk 2 eggs separated cup sugar or more 4 tablespoons flour or 2 of corn starch. teaspoon vanilla 1 teaspoon butter Add flour mixed with a little cold water or milk to the hot milk in a double boiler. Cook until fairly thick. Add egg yolks, sugar and salt mixed together. Cook about three minutes. Remove from range and add vanilla. - Slice bananas, tain in baked sie shell. Pour over them the hot cus tard. Cover with meringue made from the two egg whites and two tablespoons flour. Brown In slow oven 300 degrees for about 15 minutes. .... The whole eggs may be used In the eustard and whipped cream nsed on top.
