Woodbum W. C. T. U. Asks Council to Take Action Against Liquor Sale WOODBURN, Ore.. Dec. JO. (Special) Complaint that the prohibition laws are being- vio lated extenelvely In Woodburn, was made 4n a petition signed by 20 membera of tbe local W. C. T. U. and read at the city coun cil meeting Wednesday night. The petition asked the council to take action to preyent sale of liquor. Fred Feikert, assistant division engineer of the Southern Pacific, appeared before tbe council and asked for modification of the city ordinance which limits trains to a speed of 10 miles an hour within WM tbe city limits.
