State of Oregon
fk S we have seen, the treaty of
1818 fixed the boundary be-
tween British America and the
United States only as far west as
the Rockies, and left the Oregon
country open to the activities of ;
the citizens of both powers.
-This condition existed for a
considerable period the ten year
agreement to these terms being
renewed in 1827, and - at this
time no definite date for making
other arrangements was speci
fied, except' that tht agreement 1
could be terminated by either 4
power on a twelve month's no-:
tke to the other. " !
THERE are certain limits
both ethical and of good
taste, that should keep the
modern and progressive fu
neral director within due
bounds.
We have made it a point to
confine our, activities to such
as conform to strict ethical
standards.
