club has recently completed an ex
ceptionally' successful, two-week
trip into eastern and southern Ore
gon and Idaho. The club has at
tracted much favorable comment
tor the fineness of Its work.

The 47th wedding anniversary
of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Simpson was
celebrated in a delightful man
ner at their home on April 2. The
rooms were beautifully decorated

among them a basket of carnations
sent by a brother, F. Hackersmith
of Seattle, who was unable to be
present.
The afternoon was spent In con
