Woman's Alliance to Meet Members of the woman's alli ance of the Unitarian church will meet at 10 o'clock this morning at the church for att all-day meet ing. A luncheon will be served at 1 o'clock. The activity of the day will be sewing on bazaar ar ticles. The luncheon hostesses are Mrs. L. F. Le Garie and Mrs. Wagstaff. Mrs. Janeway Returns to Kansas Mrs. J. Janeway, after a visit in Salem at the home of Mrs. II. J. Haas, has left for her home in Kansas. Mrs. Janeway and Mrs. Haas went to Portland the very first of tho week-end and on Mon day Mrs. Janeway left for her home. St Joseph's Church to Sponsor Unique Fair The committee in charge makes the following announcement con cerning one of a number of in teresting . activities in St. Paul's parish: St. Joseph's church is planning a fair which will sur pass anything yet attempted, on November 20, 21 and 22. The men of the parish have taken charge, and a competent commit tee are at work on details now. They assure everyone of a royal good time, and will eliminate many, of the old and worn-out features of most fairs. The ad vertising committee promises to let us, know further news con cerning this fair as soon as plans are completed. Mrs. Mullefr Is Hostess at -Bridge The bridge club, of which Mrs. W. , A.
