Fenton of th Univers ity of Oregon medical school, in an address Tnesday on "infec tion" before the institute for phy sicians and nurses now being held in the senior high school building here. ?r Adenoids ealch bacteria - we breathe before they get into the body, according to Dr. Fenton. as fly paper catches flies. But like fly paper full of flies, they serve no purpose When full of bacteria ami should be taken out. The value of correct breathing while swimming was also brought out by Dr. Fenton. If all bathers follow this rule there will be less complaint of sore ears ami noses gained while swimming, he said. Infection due to poor breathing causes this soreness. Dr. Richard B. Dillehnnt, dean of the University medical school, held a clinic yesterday 'afternoon, at which children were examined to diagnose cases of flat feet, crooked spines and similar ail ments.
