Lee Dowd, recently from Can ada, has purchased two tracts about five miles east on the Sil- verton road. He bought 37 Va acres from Clifford T. Jones and 34 acres from G ,L. Johnston. For the two tracts he paid $9,- 000. cash. , The M. K. Forrest 47-acre farm located, in the Fox Valley district in Ljnn county has been sold to Charles II. Hasness, recently from Nebraska. Sale included the stock and machinery on the farm. The full consideration was $5500.
