The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. A. J. Wenger, with Rev. J. J. Evans officiating. The ring service was used. "I Love You Truly" was sang pre ceding the ceremony, with the young couple coming- to the altar to the strains of Mendelssohn's "Wedding March." The bride wore a beautiful hand made dress of rosewood crepe back satin "and carried a lovely shower of white rpsebudRs. Auxiliary Inspection Inspection of the Sons of Veter ans of the Civil war auxiliary will take place this evening. During the regular business meeting which Jbegins at 7:30 o'clock, a pot-luck dinner will be served at 6:30. Each member is asked to bring own Opiate, cup, and silver.' Two cranes nesting In an ancient pine tree in the Fukiage Imperial Gardens, adja cent to the palace, 'have brought joy to the Japanese and the royal household. The nesting of the cranes, sym bolical of married happiness, is traditionally believed to be a most fortunate omen and parti cularly applicable to the expected birth ot an heir to the Prince Re gent and Princess Nagako. When tbe Prince Regent and the Crown princess were married, a stork : descended into tbe' Palace gardens. A white dove visited the Palace' when young Prince Sumt, tbe fourth Imperial son,' was born.
