Allisons to Live in Salem The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Allison and son. Donald, will be pleased to "know they have returned to -Salem after tour years of residence lit Eugene. -For more than 20 years Mr. Allison -was m- ployed in the secretary of state's office, and for the past five years has' been auditing clerk in the office of the University of Oregonj He will go into business in Salem and Donald will enter Willamette university as a sophomore. Recent Hallowe'en Party A i much enjoyed Hallowe'en party of recent date was given by the Willing Workers class of the First Christian church, to which the gentlemen were Invited, and those who wished , to might wear character costumes and mask. rThere were a number of especi ally good characters represented, but no prizes given. The rooms were tastefully and effectively dec orated in character as well, with abundant shocks of tall corn stalks abput. the room and pump kins, cats, etc. In fact all the ap proved Hallowe'en decorations. Church Night Observed 'A most interesting social eve ping was spent at the First Chris tian church .Friday. It was termed "church night" and was enjoyed by about 200 of the congregation. i ne program consisted or some very inspiring reports of the work being done in the Sunday school and church, musical numbers and stunts that caused much laughing and good fun.
