Plans have" been made for one: group to meet , every" train, boat, electric train or automobile caravan coming to Portland with convention delegates. . After wel coming the delegations, the recep tion committee will pass them on to the committee on pages t and guides, who" in turn will escort them to convention' headquarters for entertainment assignment. This committee haa "also" iriade arrangements for special street cars at; the "depots' to meet the special trains and for all streetcar men; and policemen handling the convention crowds to wear official C. E. badges. , The reception committee will also see that the rooms of the of ficial party t the j 'Multnomah hotel are decorated ' daily with Oregon roses. The final meeting of Mr. Robinson's entire commit tee of 100 will be next Wednesday at 8 p. m. in the Y.M.C.A. audi torium, when definite assignments will be made to each group. Port land, Journal.
