Construction C o m p a n y Plans Ieveloping City by En listing Local Capital ' The instinct of Salem residents to build beautiful houses is as Inherent as the building propensi ties of a beaver. ; The Wenger brothers, Arnold J. and . Leonard H.. are no exceptions to the rule-. They have been engaged in con struction work in Salem the past 1 5 , years, except during their terms of service in the United .States Army during the war.. Anticipating the future needs of Salem by the past, they organized the Salem Construction company last January and prepared to en large their sphere of service to the city. They capitalized for $100, 000 and placed half the stock on the market at 20 per cent down payment and balance at' $5 per month. They extend their service to all forms of construction work but specialize on home building. Last year they built the Chris tian Science church in Salem, the Certified Car Market, and about 100 new homes. With the added capital secured by the incorporation of their ener gies, they will expand the service of their company to .include gen eral real estate, insurance and in vestment business in addition to construction work. Their charter authorizes the company to h'andle and improve estates, buy and sell real estate, subdivide and sell real estate and to erect dwellings there on. To act as a trust holder for the management of estates and other property. To handle per sonal property ,. as well as real estate. To engage as agent for in surance companies of all kinds. It will be observed from this that this company is to take a most active part in the development of Salem along all lines of construc tion and other work which up builds the community and makes a profit for the company. i With the Wenger brothers at the head of this company, the Salem public has implicit faith in its f nture success and the stock is finding, a ready sale on the market among home people who know the. managers best. Signs placed along the road on both sides of the booth call the attention of motorists to the honey. If ;it is not practical to have an attendant constantly at the stand, a sign may be prominently displayed tell ing the motorist to sound his horn, which signal may be promptly an swered by the person in charge. Grocery stores offer another ex cellent market. Oftentimes; the whole surplus may be disposed off through this medium.
