"Fighting Bill" Smith, character of the Silverton district was given 12 days in which to close up hs affairs and depart from Marion county, according to the ruling made by Judge Kelly Saturday morning when he imposed a sen tence of five years in the peniten Uary, and upon the recommenda tion of the district attorney parol ed that he not return to this coun ty during the period of his sen tence.
