Installation Postponed
The Gyro club ,the newest ser
vice club of Salem, will not .be
fully organized until -next fall, ac
cording to an announcement by
officials of toe organization. The
installation of newly elected of
ficers had been slated for April
4, but due to action taken by the
club yesterday the matter was
postponed. No reason was given
by the club for the move.

service medals, athletic awards to

Dogs Causes Action
Complaint of citizens about dogs
that have made themselves uis-'
ances will be answered hercaLtpr
by a rigid enforcement of'theCbg
ordinance, according to statements
of Police Chief Minto and Mayor
Giesy. 'The owner of the dog,
which is causing the trouble, will
be given the jail sentence. In
stead of the dog, as has been the
case , heretofore. The new ordi
nance gives the police the choice
of two courses -to Impound the
animals or to arrest the owners
The latter case is more effective
and is being followed out.
