Damage Felt Here In Berries and Walnuts . -' Material damage has been dealt strawberries,' walnuts and a num ber of fruits in the Salem district by the .frosts of this week.' The greatest damage, -was reported from the Kaiser bottoms; where It is. estimated that 50 per cent of the strawberry crop has been hit. Marshalls . and Oregons are said to have f elf the . lrost the most, as these were well along toward full bloom.
