Seven Accused of Spcedlnjf
Seven cases of speeders were
brought before the justice court
yesterday. The offenders were
arrested by officers under T. A.
Rafferty, state traffic chief. E.
D. Wood of Portland pleaded
guilty and was fined $15. Albert
Hofford and Ira Roach were
fined $15 and $20 respectively.
H. E. Baloh of Salem pleaded
not guilty and his trial was set
for next Thursday. Others who
will be tried for the same of
fense next Thursday are Carl

being remodeled and is to be oc

Western Auto Supply company,
now at 125 North High. All the
partitions have been removed, and
the new occupants will now have
a single, large room, admirably
adapted to store purposes. There
