Cars Collide Al Jairl of 2108 Broadway, re ported to the police that while driving east on Ferry street he had been involved in a collision with a machine driven by J. W. Lewis of Salem route No. 1, who was proceeding south on Com mercial street. The fenders on the Jairl car were badly bent and the machine belonging to Lewis was damaged to some extent, it was stated.
