THE purpose of this educational contest is to stimulate in tercut in the livestock and poultry indujstry in' Oregon. The Statesman presents this contest in co-operation with the live stock denartments of the Orocon State Fair. SeDtember 27 to try commonly raised in the Northwest How many can you identify? Two general admission and two grandstand tickets to the Oregon State Fair on Thursday, Friday or Saturday will be awarded to each of the first twenty persons sending correct lists of the nances of the sixteen breeds. The Farmyard contest 'is open to all. It will close Wednes day, September 29 at 5:00 p. m. All replies received up to that time. will be considered. The prizes will be awarded after comparison of the replies with a list furnished JLy the Oregon State Fair association.
