Dear Sir: In reply to your letter ; asking me ir my Elgin car is giving satismaction, 1 will say that I am thoroughly satisfied with it. "' - As I told you when I bought the Elgin, that I must have a car which would be ready to go at all tiiuea, equal to all emergencies, one that would wlthtsand the most hazard ous trips, and maintain the niax- Imam power and speed, I have found these requirements pe: soni fied in the Elgin. Furthermore it possesses wonder- f ul riding qualities, permitting V- transportation of my patients to and "from the hospital without the slight i est discomfort. . I also wish to express my satis ; faction with the service you have 1 given me, which is more than I ex ; pec ted and far ahead of any I have been given on other makes of cars , I have owned. . Elgia Six which J purchased from ' yon last summer. No one could ex ' pect more than you have done, and 1 1 am very well , astisf ied with the ear in every way. As for riding, I think 1 am sare in saying that it is as easy a riding car as I have ever been in and the - upkeep has been nothing at all ex cept for sas, oil and tires. It Is my opinion that there is no . other car on the market today with v In several hundred dollars that is - equal to the Elgin, and a person ; would have to go a good many hun- dred higher to find its superior. I have plenty of power, at all ' times, and can speed up if necessary v and not be compelled to eat the road hog's dust and on the other - hand I can throttle it down to two miles an hour on high which is very k convenient on crowded streets. Dear Sir: I wish to thank you at this time for the service you have given me ou my 1919 Elgin, also on the 1918 Elgin which 1 purchased from you last season. My car has given me very good service this year and the past three or four months I have driven it abiut 90(H) miles over all kinds of roads as my business requires me, at times to go over places that are practically impassible. I haven't spent a dollar for repairs in the 9000 miles and the ear has given me wonderful mileage on gasoline, oil and tires. 1 have one of the original tires on the front wheel at this time. In Tact, an the tires on the ear ran from three to four thiusand miles over the guarantee. The writer wishes you everv success in your automobile business, as I know that you are giving more real automobile service to the owner than any dealer that I know of in this city or valley. , tJ .jii.-'.. The writer feels that service is the main thing to consider when anyone is buying an autimobile There are many good cars manufactured today, but I think the mam tiling to consider when purchasing a car is to buy a car where one is assured of service when ever it is necessary to have it. Sept 8, 1919 i Dear Mr. Gilbert: ' ' In answer to your question of yesterday I will say that the Elgin Six is giving complete satisfaction and is everything that it was rep resented to be. It is one of the most easy rid ing cars that I was ever in and has a minimum of jolting when going over the roughest of roads. The car has a powerful engine which has given the best of service on all kinds of roads, and has never given any trouble. In regard tot the service on the car I will say that it has been all that any one could ask, and far bet ter than that given by most agencies. Yours truly, HAROLD EAKIN TERRITORY OPEN FOR GOOD LIVE DEALERS The test of a car's steadiness and smooth riding is its ability to travel at a merry clip over rough roads, finder such conditions you feel a sense of security and safety in the Elgin Six no "nerves" or worry no jouncing about or side sway no fear that the car will slide off the road. Improved cantilever spring suspension of exclusive design and perfect balance throughout make the Elgin Six ride straight , as an arrow under all conditions.
