Ve learn from Mr. I). W.Erarv that agents
are about to begin the canvass of the val-
ley counties for the sale of licenses to use
Perkins' Patent for preserving eggs, fruit,
etc. These is the most indubitable evi
dences that this process is just what it is
claimed to be a sure preventive, simple,
cheap, and may be used with perfect safety
by any one. The material to be used may
be purchased in almost any towD or village
at a cost of about one cent for each dozen
eggs. It is the only successful process
discovered for preserving eggs for a long
time, in a perfect state. Eggs coated with
the solution have kept periecfly fresh for
two years. Eggs decay from exposure to
the action of the atmosphere. This closes
all the pores of the shell" hermetically. and
shuts out. absolutely, every active princi
ple existing in the atmosphere, while at
the same time the egg remains totally un
affected by the coating substance. Every
farmer, poulterer, and dealer in the State,
should buy a "license to use." It. costs,
with full directions, and a copy of Erary's
"New Poultry' Eook." only six dollars
a sum which any one may save, many times
over in one season, by being able to keep
eL'urs as to take advantage of the markets.

Celebrated Magic Soap Powders !
Prepared in 6, 12, and 24 lb. Boxes,
BEAD Y EOR WA SUING !
This is cheaper than Common Soap. It
removes Paint, Tar, Pitch and dirt of even
description ; and which lias given such gen
eral satisfaction, by proving that your wash
ingcan be done with one-half the time and
labor of the old mode. Thus labor saved is
money made ; as wash-boards, machines and
hard rubbing to wear out clothes, is entirely
dispensed with, and the washing for a dozen
persons can be done in two hours. Thus the
cost of your washing being three-fourths less
tban by any other process, as you use no
other soap.
These Prepared Powders or Soap have net
only proved themselves superior for washing
any and all kinds of goods, but proved after
one year's use not to injure in the slightest
degree any fabric of the finest texture ; and,
also the finest article for the hands, as it
makes them soft and white, as Well as your
clothes. It also keeps yonr hands from
chapping when exposed to the air.
n e defy tue world to produce its superior
for washing any and all kinds ot goods.
Our object is to save your tune, expense,
hard labor, and especially the woman who
has to wash.
AVe take pleasure in announcing a few of
tne manv ladies names by their consent
who have used our Prepared Magic Soap
