Among the subjects to be introduced
by Dr. L. L. Wirt in his lecture In
the court room Friday evening will be
the' fall of Jerusalem, battle of Arm
ageddon and driving out of the Turks.

activities says that-Dr. Wirt is draw
ing large crowds and that his lecture
is being well received.
High School Can'tGet Games The
Dalles high school has a fast, peppy
baseball team this season, with no
opponents. Virtually every other city
of any size in the Mid-Columbia dis
trict has been asked for games, only
to receive replies stating that no IB,
