On Deschutes Ridge, Monday, Sept.
11th, of bowel trouble, John H. Helper,
aged 27 years. The remains were buried
in the city cemetery thie afternoon.
Deceased was born in the state of
Michigan and iias lived at Deschutes I
about a year

children, who will go to Pendleton to
night where his people reside.
