It wss the first time . in week that the Liverpool market made a full re sponse to the American advance of the day before. This encouraged buying at the open ing and December and May reached new high points on the crop. Some of the longs were suspicious over the action of the English msr ket regarding it as erttficisUy Inflated and they sold out their wheat on the early ad vance. Thie disclosed a lack of auypuri and more B3 nidation followed when it was learned that a big Eastern long was disposing ef his holdings of corn. The big local longs sup ported the market but on any rally there was wheat for sale. Cash wheat premium was firm. Milling demand for wheat was quiet. Seaboard advised that while no sales for ex port were reported, there; wss a belief that some bus) nee. had been worked oa the break. It was reported via Omaha that Italy had removed the imporf daty en flour sad was asking for offers for quick shipment. December corn sold at a new high level st the start and late months started higher. The bulge brought out heavy seliing and this con tinued for some time, the sales being mostly so Eastern longs. Support from, leading long interests was uncovered, - but this proved -inadequate to prevent a material break. Cast com was easier, discount for Ke. 3 grades being wider. Shipping demand was slow. Country offering, to arrive were more liberal. Export brokers said that bids from the sea board were withdrawn but the seaboard told of some business being worked en the dip. Sales of 120.000 bushels of contract core were made to go te store, i Oats were higher early,! but prices goffered s recession Ister la sympathy with grain. Sales of 10.000 bushels of oats went to store. Provisions higher with hogs early bat re acted later with grain. . a, W? 1Me5. J z2c i lower.
