major part of the grading work has
been completed and . the ,' inner- court,

proach MacKensie hall, is being paved.

State and city officials, the medical
fraternity of Portland and other com
munities and others interested in the
work of health advancement will be
invited to attend.- The complete pro
gram will jiot be announced before
next month.

Albany College

The second day of registration showed
a gain of about SO per cent over the
total registration of the first two days
ct last year. The college has added to
it faculty Mrs. Charles Child, b. U,
Emerson school of expression, Boston,
who will teach public speaking and
dramatics. She comes from Oregon
Agricultural college.
