Seattle youth, who is now serv ing a three years' term at McNeil island for violation of the federal motor vehicle theft act. Federal Judge Bean ruled that he could have his trial here on another charge, and serve out both sentences at once. Des Moineaux Is charged with giving a local phonograph company a forged check for J50ti which was stolen from the navy yard at Bremerton. He will enter a plea of guilty. Xtw Store Building Plans for a new store building to be erected for Couch & Currier, in the St. Johns district, are now ready, according to an an nouncement today. The new structure, which will be of reinforced concrete, Will be 25x100 feet, two stories high, fronting on Jersey street and adjoining the Peninsula Security company build ing. The lower floor will be occupied by Couch & Currier grabateria and the upper floor will be divided into nine office suites. The contract will be let within a few days. More Time Allowed Peddler Thomas Ryan, convicted narcotic peddler, was allowed 10 days Monday by Federal Judge Bean in which ito file a motion for a new trial. Ryan was found guilty last week of selling $200 worth of narcotics to a Chinaman, who was a government narcotit informant. , Lakevlew Supervisor Here Gilbert D. Brown, supervisor : of the Fremont National forest, arrived in Portland from Lakeview Monday to attend the sessions of the Masonic grand lodge. He will spend several days on detail at the district headquarters of the forest service before returning. Foresters Return Fred V. Cleator and Ryle Teed have returned to the forest service from Wenatchee where they have been classifying some 20,000 acres of forest land with the idea of effecting land exchanges with the state of Washington for school lands. S. bureau of public roads has started a survey of the Anna creek road entrance into Crater Lake national park. The survey will be ready July 1. The same crew will also prepare for construction the Klam ath county section of The Dalles California highway, which is estimated to cost $240,000. Bids for the work will be opened early in July. Chinese Fear Tesg War Extra po licemen were scattered through Port land's Chinatown Monday night to pre vent any intended tong killings after word bad been received that one Chi nese had been killed in a tong fight in Seattle. A Chinese, whose name was not learned by the police, called head quarters, and asked for the protection. It developed later that some shooting was, done by a Chinese in Seattle, but no one was killed. Social Workers Laacheoa At the Social Workers association luncheon Wednesday Miss Jane V.
