Cattle also have had a slow market, but bogs were able to hold well during the period, notwithstanding the fact that the re ceipts show an increase of about 5000 -over the corresponding period hut week. Receipts today were estimated at 11,000 cattle; 18,000 hogs; 16.000 aheep and 2500 calves. Cattle Steer sold generally steady but the trade was a little uneven. Prime steers were placed at 39. 0Q 9 8.26, while good 120O pound stock went at 88.45, with soma choice lots st 38.75. Cows and heifers were slow, but prices were unchanged. Carmen and balls also held well. Home choice bologna bulla made $5, Cslves were easy in spots. On account of the warm weath er for a couple of - days, yesterday's berries did xw. arrive in good condition and retailers expert eoeed difficulty in -cleaning up their supplies. As a result, retailers were not buying the usual amount of berries today. Berries re ceived tomorrow should show much improvo- auen in uuauroy.
