George Wood Anderson. All the English speaking Methodist churches, and nearly all -the foreign lan guage congregations, have voted to sus pend all activities except the Sunday school, and attend the four tabernacle services of the day. Many of the Sun day school sessions will "be shortened to permit the workers to reacn tne uroer UAde for the morning church service. At 11 a. m. tomorrow Dr. Anderson will preach from the subject "Cleansing the Temple"; at 3 p. m. on The White Robed Christ." and at 7:30 p. m. on "1 he Man Who Came Back." The fourth .service of the day will be the union Kpwortn league service at 9 :10 v- . Ah the services Sunday will be open to l be general public. The tabernacle is at Hast Third and Irving streets, near the east end of the Steel bridge. If the audience arrives early, the Sun i'ty night service will be started ahead of scheduled time. Kach of the three preaching services will be prefaced by a song service- under the direction of Walter R. Jenkins, with Bentley D. Ack 'ley at the 'piano. The offerings at the three, main serv ices will be free-will offerings tpr Dr. Anderson, who came to Portland to con-, duct the crusade without having any financial agreement with the local com mittee, except that he he given the of fering 'of the closing Sunday. The offer ings of the meetings to date will pay for the expenses of; .the crusade, so the finance committee will not have to col ltct any money on-' the under writings. Endeavor Union to Meet in Convention The Multnomah County Christian En deavor union will hold its annual con vention the evenings of May 19 and 20. On May 19 the session will be at tne Klrst Congregational church, and on Mav 20 at the First Presbvterian church. Mrs. W. H Wright, for four years a member or "Billy hunday s evangelistic party, will be the convention musical director. At the Congregational church Webber's Juvenile orchestra will furnish special music ; the Rev. Lloyd Carrick of Forbes Presbyterian church will raise the 1923 budget, and tne Kev. w. w.
