Cones - Asparagus season is now in full swing and price art now just as low as dur ing; normal times. In many of the mar kets they are offering; the bunch stock at , ,25c for two bunches. 'It develops that most of the bunches weigh three Quarters pound instead of one pound the custom, but even at Chat asparagus is rather cheap. And it is of very good Quality. . ... ' . Oreen peas from California have been so high and so scarce that values have, been far above the average consumer. Now there is quite a liberal stock of fering here and prices are dropping fast ; Some of the down-town markets will make a specialty of them Satur day at 15 a pound. i Cabbage Is very , scarce and higher priced, but values will soon be lower Rhubarb is rather scares again and this has resulted in the retail price' be ing moved generally to 10c a pound.
