The commissioners have- decided to award the contract to the Albatross Metal Furniture company, 715 Thurman street, at a price of 110,048.83. There were four bidders, the highest offer be ing for 113,300. Rabbits to Be Shown The Oregon branch, National Breeders' and Fanciers' Association, Inc., will hold a table Bhow and educational meeting' Saturday at ,7 :30 p. m.. Central library, room H. All varieties of rabbits and cavies will be on exhibition. Talks on the value of the domesticated rabbit for food, fur, etc., will be given by authorities of the rabbit, cavy and other small fur bearing animal industry. Adv:- Foot Crashed by Ante Philip Krieger. 18, a driver for the Doernbecher Furni ture company, was caught between two automobiles Thursday afternoon, and his foot was crushed by a car driven by T. He had gotten down from a machine driven by George Schae fer, 406-Stanton street to crank a stalled engine, when the other machine backed into him, pinning him between the two.
