lighting system, which a committee of
the Chehalia Cttlsens club, headed toy T.
W. Noble, is working out, was Indorsed
unanimously . by the club members at
their noon luncheon 'Monday. The plan
is to establish a local Improvement dis
trict In which the property owners wlD
pay. for installing the uniform standard
lighting system to take the place of the
present Inadequate lighting and. remove
the poles from the main business streets.
Petitions are being circulated, asking the
city commission to establish the district
and to plan in the budget for providing
the necessary electricity.
